Sunday Afternoon / Evening Wine & Beer Bus Tour

Start your 2017 IMAGIN Conference with a great social outing by reserving your spot on the 2017 IMAGIN Conference Bus Brewery and Winery Tour.

Attendees on the winery tour will be transported to the Ciccone Vineyard & Winery where they will be able to sample some of the finest wines of the Leelanau Peninsula region with a beautiful setting for the winery, owned by Sylvio "Tony" Ciccone, Madonna's father.  Ciccone Vineyard & Winery presents one of northern Michigan’s most unique and picturesque wineries. Our Old World tasting room is situated atop the rolling hills of Leelanau Peninsula and features award-winning estate wines. Take a stroll through our vineyards and enjoy the striking views of West Grand Traverse Bay and our restored turn-of-the-century barn. 

Brewery tour attendees will be transported to the Hop Lot Brewing Company in Suttons Bay where they will experience a unique four-seasons microbrewery and beer garden, complete with an on-site hop garden, 10 to 14 taps of both mainstays and rotating seasonal varieties, including not just "hoppy" beers, even though it is in their name.

Following the winery and brewery stops, the bus will collect all attendees and transport the group to the Filling Station Microbrewery in downtown Traverse City where the group will be treated to a track-side patio seating overlooking both the tracks and lake for unlimited pizza, salad and soft-drinks.   The Filling Station was established in 2012 as a family owned and operated business providing the highest quality hand crafted brews, wood-fired pizzas and fresh salads, all in a casual pub-style setting.  The cost of dinner is only $12 per person for the salad & pizza buffet, which includes unlimited soft-drinks, and will be payable at the restaurant by each attendee.  Other beverages are at additional cost to the attendee.

The bus tour cost is $10.00 per person for either the Ciccone Vineyard visit or the Hop Lot visit.   Pre-registration for the bus tour is required as there is limited space available.  Pre-register soon as the past two (2) years of this popular event have sold out. Any applicable tasting fees and purchases are additional and the responsibility of the attendee.

Monday Afternoon Vendor Social

Engaging with the vendors is a vital aspect of the IMAGIN conference.   The conference planning team is investigating new ways to foster interaction with the vendors and sponsors for Monday at lunch and Monday afternoon.  As details are finalized, information will be posted here.   

Monday Evening Networking Activity

A new event is in the works for 2017, and we don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet, but be confident that a fun event focusing on downtown Traverse City is being planned.   We'll let you in on the details soon!
