Welcome to the IMAGIN Forum about the Esri Local Government Information Model (LGIM) and Parcel Fabric.

To start the forum, I am just wondering who all out there in Michigan are either using the Parcel Fabric or are planning to convert to the parcel fabric in the near future.

Muskegon County is currently in the last steps of cleaning our topology and are about to convert the data into the fabric model.

    Thanks,
Thomas Van Bruggen, GIS Administrator for Muskegon County

Ottawa County transitioned to the ArcGIS Parcel Editing Solution in August of 2016.  We had one year of prep time which included cleaning up topologies and other issues.

I'm the GIS Tech for Muskegon County Equalization...the GIS Administrator & IMAGIN President, Thomas Van Bruggen & I have been attempting to update the county's GIS into the PF...however, it is quite a slog!

Since manpower is minimal here, we're progressing slowly, but intend to be up to date before the next millennium! Seriously though, we should have the PF in place hopefully before the next turnover of the county-wide assessing database at the end of March 2018.  Wish us luck!
