IMAGIN Bylaws

Over the past couple of months, the IMAGIN Membership Team, Governance Team, and Board of Directors have been reviewing the membership structure and tiers of membership for IMAGIN.  The IMAGIN membership structure and fees have been stable for many years and have overall not changed since the inception of the organization in 1993.  Beginning about a year ago, several organizations and members have requested a review of the membership categories, specifically wanting to address the supporting organizations and a potential for a "retiree" category.  After thorough review, the IMAGIN Board of Directors has approved some language changes to the bylaws for review by the IMAGIN Membership addressing these requests.  You can review the proposed changes in the document that is linked below.

As required by the IMAGIN Bylaws, we will be sending out a ballot to all active members for review and approval of the proposed bylaws revisions regarding membership.  This email is planned to go out on Monday, October 11, 2021 and the election will be open until Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 5:00 pm EDT.   

Additionally, the IMAGIN Board of Directors would like to inform you that a complete and thorough review of the bylaws will be performed over the fall and winter of 2021/2022 and this will most likely result in another bylaws revision that you will be informed of in the spring of 2022.
