Network with GIS Professionals

Becoming a part of IMAGIN gives you access to GIS contacts across the state of Michigan through our membership directory. Use it to contact vendors, consultants, and other colleagues.

Annual Conference

Join your colleagues at our annual conference, typically held in June of each year. A multitude of presentations highlighting GIS applications, uses, and best practices give everyone the opportunity to expand their knowledge base. Meet and connect with vendors doing business around the region. And it's not all business! Enjoy the company of your peers during social events and receptions. Members and non-members alike can attend, with one day and full conference registration options.

Meetup With Friends

Meet with your colleagues to share great projects and ideas around food and drinks. The IMAGIN Meetups are informal gatherings at various locations across the state and occur three (3) or four (4) times a years. Find a nearby location and hang out with fellow GIS professionals.

Ask Questions

IMAGIN's Slack Channel gives members a platform to ask questions, share information, and engage with other members 24/7. It's the perfect place to ask that one question that Google just can't seem to answer!

Get Recognized

Becoming a member of IMAGIN opens a world of possibilities and connections. It is an organization by and for everyone - we welcome people from budding young professionals to retirees that want to stay connected to the community. Membership Types

IMAGIN offers several membership types and pricing levels to meet the needs of both the individual and organizations. All memberships are based on the calendar year.

Individual Membership: $100.00 per year
Individual membership is for those small one-person shops or any individual that wants to become a member of IMAGIN. Benefits of individual membership include voting rights for IMAGIN member business, eligibility to serve on the Board of Directors, discounts for IMAGIN products and events, and other benefits as established by the Board of Directors.

Supporting Organization Membership:
Any legal entity may become a supporting Organization of IMAGIN. Three (3) tiers of Supporting Organization have been established to meet the needs of various sized organizations.

Tier 1 Supporting Organization: $275.00 per Year
Benefits include 1 to 3 Individual Memberships, voting rights for each Individual Member, eligibility for each Individual Member to serve on the Board of Directors, discounts for IMAGIN products and events, and other benefits as established by the Board of Directors.

Tier 2 Supporting Organization: $400.00 per Year
Benefits include 4 to 9 Individual Memberships, voting rights for each Individual Member, eligibility for each Individual Member to serve on the Board of Directors, discounts for IMAGIN products and events, and other benefits as established by the Board of Directors.

Tier 3 Supporting Organization: $750.00 per Year
Benefits include 10 or more Individual Memberships, voting rights for the first 10 Individual Members listed (as provided by the Organization), eligibility for each Individual Member to serve on the Board of Directors, discounts for IMAGIN products and events, and other benefits as established by the Board of Directors.

Student Membership: $25.00 per Year
Any student enrolled in 6 or more credit hours at an accredited educational institution may become a Student Member of IMAGIN by providing the requested member information, paying the membership fees established by the Board of Directors, and providing proof of registration when payment is submitted. Benefits of Student Membership include voting rights for IMAGIN member business, discounts for IMAGIN products and events and other benefits as established by the Board of Directors.

Legacy Membership: $150.00 Lifetime
Any IMAGIN member who has retired may become a Legacy Member of IMAGIN by providing the requested member information and paying the membership fees established by the Board of Directors. Benefits of Legacy Membership include voting rights for IMAGIN member business, eligibility to serve on the Board of Directors, discounts for IMAGIN products and events, and other benefits as established by the Board of Directors.
